The Kastner Gingerbread Factory

The name Kastner was first mentioned in the year 1559 in association with the ancient trades of chandler, gingerbread maker and mead producer. Ever since then the Kastner Lebzelterei has become synonymous with wonderful sweet things and you can still purchase and enjoy them in the Gingerbread Factory and in the adjoining café.

Andreas Bauer and his team offer delicious lunchtime menus as well as snacks (open bacon sandwiches, roast meats, goat's cheese, minced meat dumplings, cream cheese on bread and traditional snackboards). To order you can also enjoy hearty meals such as spare ribs, pan roasts, baked bacon dumplings and a medieval dish.

Opening times: Fridays to Tuesdays from 10am, Wednesdays from 4pm, closed on Thursdays.
