Sternstein is a wintersport Eldorado, not just for alpine skiers and snowboarders, but also for cross-country skiers. Starting off from the Berggasthof Waldschenke – the road leading here is situated directly before the roundabout at the end of Bad Leonfelden – you will find yourself on a superbly serviced and signposted network of cross-country ski-tracks. The Sternstein ski-tracks are displayed in a map on the right.

• Sternsteinloipe (10 km - prepared for classic and skating)
• Kastnerloipe (8 km - prepared for classic)
• Loipe Weigetschlag (6 km - prepared for classic and skating)

Season cards cost € 30,00 and is available at the GH Waldschenke, HMW Bar-Cafe, Kronberger Sport 2000 or in the office from the Sternsteinlift Bad Leonfelden.

Day cards cost € 3,00 and is available directly at the start of the cross-country ski run.

You are welcome to hire all the equipment you need from the GH Waldschenke or Happys Schi.
